In these challenging times, it can be hard to look after your own mental and physical health – but everybody should have ways to help themselves or someone they can turn to for support when they’re struggling.

At Pile-o-Pets, we care for everybody in the wider pet community. We encourage you not to struggle alone, reach out to your fellow pets for support. Conversation or text messages can mean the world in hard times.

Further to support from our community, we encourage anyone who feels like they need professional help to reach out. We’ve included some links below to support resources that can help you.

What Can I do?

Sometimes the little things can really help, we’ve taken some of the tips from the NHS Every Mind Matters site that we believe may be able to help our fellow pets.

Keep Active
It can be tough to keep active, especially if you’re feeling low – but something as small as going for a walk can really help clear your mind.

Eat Healthily
Keeping a good diet is proven to help keep both your physical and mental health in check, you don’t need to be salad 24/7 – but small steps in the right direction make a huge difference.

Keep in Touch with Loved Ones
It is easy to feel lonely, especially during this strange time. Keeping in touch through voice/video calls, socially distant walks or even just a quick text can really do wonders.
